Many people use their computers for months or years without ever knowing it's infected with a virus. An infected computer runs slowly and the overall user experience can be frustrating. The first line of defense in keeping your computer running fast and healthy is a good anti-virus program. While having an anti-virus program installed will be a much greater help than having nothing at all.

Windows update is a service provided by Microsoft that will constantly check your computer to ensure you have the latest updates.Windows updates are needed to patch new security flaws and / or fix bugs in the system. Bad memory - 3 short beeps

These codes do vary from one manufacturer to another. Almost all computers list the appropriate codes in the User's manual under technical information or the troubleshooting section, so be sure to check the manual and verify what the codes mean.

AntiVirus System 2011

Is  one of the new popular  rogue anti-spyware program that displays fake scan results and alerts in order to trick you into thinking your computer is infected. This program is installed through Trojans that download and install the program on to your computer without your permission. 
When installed, the rogue will also create numerous files in your Windows Temp folder that will then be detected as malware when AntiVirus System 2011 attempts to scan your computer. 

If you attempt to remove any of the programs it states are infections, it will state that you need to purchase the program first before it will allow you to do so. The reality is that these files are harmless, or do not even exist, and are only being shown to scare you into purchasing the program.
Without a doubt, this program is a scam that was developed to scare you into purchasing it.
