Why Windows Update is Important

Windows update is a service provided by Microsoft that will constantly check your computer to ensure you have the latest updates.Windows updates are needed to patch new security flaws and / or fix bugs in the system. How to enable Windows Update?

To activate Windows Update, open up your control panel and look for Windows Update or Security Center. Through either of these settings you can then enable Windows Update and choose how you would like Microsoft to update your system.
